➀ Toshiba has announced a 1.2kWh 27.6Vdc li-ion battery module for electric busses, ships, and boats.

➁ The module, called Type4-23, improves heat extraction with an aluminum baseplate and offers double the heat dissipation compared to current modules.

➂ The battery is expected to be available in the middle of April 2025 and is designed to meet safety standards for both motive and stationary applications.
